White Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. lukewarm water
2 c. scalded milk
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. shortening
6 c. flour
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in water.
Set aside.
Mix milk, sugar, salt and shortening until dissolved.
Add 2 cups flour; beat.
Add yeast.
Gradually add 4 cups flour.
Knead 8 to 10 minutes.
Place in bowl 1 1/2 hours.
