Cranberry Almond Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. butter, melted
2 Tbsp. almond extract
1 1/2 c. fresh cranberries, coarsely chopped
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. sliced almonds
Preparation

Combine egg, milk, butter and almond extract.
Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Add to liquid ingredients mixing until moist.
Fold in cranberries.
Spread batter in 8 1/2 x 4 1/2-inch loaf pan.
Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar and almonds (press into batter slightly).
Bake for 45 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Turn down oven to 350\u00b0 and bake for 30 more minutes.
