North Shore Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes, boiled in skins (boiling potatoes)
    2 c. sour cream
    1 to 2 tsp. salt
    pepper
    1/2 medium onion, minced
    4 Tbsp. butter
    2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Store cooked potatoes in refrigerator for 24 hours.
    Melt butter with cheese in double boiler.
    Add sour cream, salt, pepper and onion; stir until well blended.
    Remove from heat.
    Peel potatoes; grate them and stir into cheese mixture.
    Place in a baking dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serves 8.
