Company Pickle Chunks(These Are Sweet, Crisp And Clear) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 medium cucumbers
    8 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. mixed pickling spices
    5 tsp. kosher salt
    4 c. cider vinegar
Preparation
    Cover cucumbers with boiling water.
    Let stand until next morning.
    Drain.
    Repeat this procedure the next 3 mornings.
    On the fifth day, drain and slice in 1/2-inch wedges.
