Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. light Karo syrup
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. raw peanuts
    1 tsp. paraffin wax
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Mix in a heavy skillet the Karo syrup and sugar; heat.
    Add 2 cups raw peanuts and cook until light beige in color.
    Add the paraffin and remove from heat; stir in baking soda.
    Do this fast as it will foam and need to be put on a greased cookie sheet and spread thin before it hardens.
    Cool and break into small pieces. Store in airtight container.
