Corn Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 strips bacon or about 1/2 lb.
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1 (16 oz.) bag or 2 boxes frozen corn
1/2 c. water
1 pt. half and half
2 c. milk
1/3 c. flour
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Cut raw bacon into small pieces.
Add onion and green pepper and fry together until bacon is cooked.
Do not drain bacon grease.
Grind the frozen corn in a blender until small pieces. Add to bacon, onion and green pepper mixture.
Add water and cook slowly until corn is cooked.
This will be quite thick and burns easily, so watch it carefully.
You can add more water if necessary.
Add flour mixed with small amount of water.
Stir. Add milk and half and half and heat slowly (don't boil).
Salt and pepper to taste.
