Potato Casserole(Serves 12 People) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 lb.) bag frozen has brown potatoes
    1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 tsp. salt
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    garlic salt or powder to taste
    1 pt. sour cream
    2 c. corn flakes
Preparation
    Defrost hash brown potatoes; mix with all other ingredients except 1/2 stick butter and corn flakes.
    Put into a large 9 x 12-inch baking pan or dish.
    Melt 1/2 stick of butter with the corn flakes and spread on top of mixture.
    Bake uncovered at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
