Mincemeat Jello - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. cherry jello
    2 c. mincemeat
    3 1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. nuts, broken
    1/2 pt. whipped cream, sweetened
    1/2 c. dates, chopped (if desired)
Preparation
    Dissolve cherry jello in hot water; pour a layer in a 9 x 12-inch pan or 1 1/2-quart mold.
    Chill until firm.
    Chill remaining jello until firm in another pan or mold.
    Add rest of ingredients on top.
    When second pan is firm, serve upside down on clear layer and top with sweet cream.
