Italian Chocolate Drop Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. flour
    3 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. baking powder
    2 c. shortening
    rinds of 1 1/2 oranges and a little juice
    4 oz. cocoa
    6 eggs
    1/2 tsp. each: cinnamon, cloves and allspice
    1 lb. nuts
    raisins to taste
    1 shot whiskey
    milk (enough to make dough drop-like consistency)
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar.
    Mix baking powder, cocoa, flour and seasonings and add to creamed mixture.
    Beat in eggs, juice, whiskey and milk.
    Fold in nuts and raisins and then drop batter by spoonful onto greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
