Peach Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

9 canned peach halves
1/4 c. soft butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted cake flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. milk
Preparation
-
Drain peaches. Spread soft butter in bottom of a deep square 9 x 9-inch pan. Pack brown sugar evenly over butter.
Arrange peaches upside-down on sugar.
(Can use maraschino cherries between peaches, if desired.)
