Strawberry Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. lemon extract
    4 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. strawberry preserves or jam
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Cream margarine, sugar and vanilla.
    Add eggs one at a time. Sift flour, cream of tartar and soda.
    Combine jam and sour cream, adding to creamed mixture alternating with flour mixture.
    Stir in nuts.
    Grease and flour 2 loaf pans; bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes. Cool 10 minutes then remove from pans.
    Cool completely on wire racks.
