Sausage Stuffed Tomatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 large tomatoes
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
3 Tbsp. chopped celery
3 Tbsp. chopped green peppers
1/2 lb. pork sausage, cooked, crumbled and drained
salt and pepper
1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
fresh parsley sprigs
Preparation

Cut tops from tomatoes; scoop out pulp, leaving shells intact. Chop pulp.
Combine pulp, bread crumbs, celery, green pepper and cooked sausage; mix well.
Sprinkle insides of shells with salt and pepper.
Arrange tomatoes in an 8-inch square baking dish. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes, or until tomatoes are thoroughly heated.
Sprinkle tomatoes with cheese.
Bake for 1 minute, or until cheese melts.
Sprinkle parsley over top, if desired.
