Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oil
    1 c. green pepper, chopped
    2 c. onion, chopped
    1 c. celery, chopped
    2 tsp. garlic, minced
    2 c. whole tomatoes
    1 tsp. paprika
    1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. water
    1 bay leaf
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 lb. peeled shrimp
Preparation
    Heat oil and saute pepper, onion, celery and garlic.
    Add tomatoes, water and seasonings.
    Simmer 15 minutes.
    Add shrimp and simmer 15 minutes more.
    Add cornstarch.
    Serve on rice.
