Chicken And Wild Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. long grain wild rice
    1/4 c. butter
    1/3 c. onion, chopped
    1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. half and half
    1 c. chicken broth
    2 c. cooked, cubed chicken
    1/4 c. fresh parsley, minced
    1/4 c. almonds, chopped
Preparation
    Cook rice according to directions on package.
    Melt butter in frying pan.
    Saute onions until golden.
    Add flour, salt and pepper to onions.
    Mix well.
    Gradually add cream and chicken broth, stirring constantly.
    Cook until thickened.
    Add cooked rice to sauce, chicken, parsley and almonds.
    Mix well and pour into a greased casserole.
    Bake in a 425\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
