Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 c. orange juice or juice from 1 orange
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    2 Tbsp. hot water
    1 1/2 c. cranberries, cut up
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder and soda. Some flour can be added to the cranberries to prevent them from bleeding while baking. Add sugar, salt and egg. In a separate measuring cup, combine orange juice, butter and hot water to make 3/4 cup. Fold liquid into dry ingredients, then add cranberries and nuts. Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Check with toothpick to see if done.
