My Mom'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    5 eggs, beaten
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and Crisco until dissolved.
    Add beaten eggs.
    Sift together flour and baking powder.
    Add flour mixture and milk alternately to first mixture.
    Add extracts.
    Pour into well-greased and floured tube pan.
    Place in cold oven.
    Set temperature to 325\u00b0 and bake for 90 minutes.
    Yields
    15 to 18 servings.
