Broccoli-Onion Deluxe - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli or 1 lb. fresh broccoli, cut
    2 c. frozen whole onions or 1 lb. cut onions or substitute 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen cauliflower
    1/4 c. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. milk
    13 oz. pkg. cream cheese
    1/2 c. shredded sharp cheese
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
Preparation
    Cook broccoli until tender and drain.
    Cook onion (or cauliflower) until tender and drain.
    Melt half of the butter in a saucepan. Blend in the flour, salt and pepper.
    Add milk and cook, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbly. Reduce heat and blend in cream cheese.
    Pour in cooked vegetables and toss lightly.
    Put in a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish. Top with shredded cheese.
    Melt remaining butter. Add bread crumbs and toss.
    Sprinkle bread crumbs on top of casserole.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
