French Onion Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium onions, sliced
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    4 c. beef broth
    1/2 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
    Parmesan cheese
    1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
Preparation
    Cook onions in butter in a large skillet.
    Cover until onions are tender.
    Uncover; cook until brown.
    Stir in broth and water. Cover; simmer for 30 minutes.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Put soup in ovenproof dishes.
    Place croutons in each; sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
