Sliced Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sliced, cooked sweet potatoes
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Roll out 2/3 of pastry and place in bottom of 10-inch square baking dish.
    Combine sweet potatoes and sugar.
    Place in crust. Sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon.
    Pour milk over this and dot with
    butter.
    Roll out remaining pastry and cut into strips. Layer strips across dish in lattice pattern.
    Sprinkle small amount of sugar and nutmeg on top of crust and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until brown.
