Sweet-Sour Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 bacon strips
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. flour
    3/4 c. vegetable liquid
    1/4 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 or 3 c. cooked green beans
Preparation
    Brown bacon strips until crisp.
    Cook chopped onion in bacon fat until yellow.
    Stir in flour.
    Add and bring to a boil the vegetable liquid, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper.
    Stir in cooked green beans.
    Stir gently until heated through. Serve with crisp bacon sprinkled over top.
