Mom'S Baked Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. Soldier beans (Jacob's Cattle beans or yellow eyes)
1 c. maple syrup (darker the better)
1 large or 2 medium onions
1 Tbsp. dried mustard
a piece of salt pork
Preparation
-
Soak beans overnight.
In the morning, parboil until soft. Put in bean pot.
Add other ingredients and bake all day.
Add more boiling water from time to time, so they don't dry out.
