Date Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. chopped dates
2 tsp. soda, sifted on dates
2 c. boiling water
2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
2 eggs
1 c. nut meats
3 c. flour

Preparation

Pour boiling water over dates and soda mixture.
Let cool, then add remaining ingredients.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1/2 hour.
