Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. soda
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. milk
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in 2 tablespoons lukewarm water.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Sift dry ingredients together in a bowl.
Cut in shortening with pastry blender until crumbly.
Add yeast to milk. Mix well.
Add to flour mixture, stirring slowly with a fork.
