Southern-Style Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 medium, chopped onion
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    2 cans chopped tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 can dark red kidney beans
    1 tsp. Tabasco sauce
    2 cans chili beans
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 can tomato paste
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In slow cooker, combine ground beef and 6 cups of water; simmer until meat is done.
    Drain fat off top.
    Add onion and spices.
    Simmer 30 minutes and add beans, tomatoes and tomato paste.
    Simmer 1 hour and serve.
