60 Minute Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. milk
4 Tbsp. sugar
4 Tbsp. butter or shortening
1 tsp. salt
2 cakes yeast
1/4 c. lukewarm water
all-purpose flour
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.
Scald milk.
Add shortening, sugar and
salt and cool to lukewarm.
Add yeast to mixture and enough flour for a soft dough. Knead a little.
Let rise until double in bulk.
Turn out on a floured board and pat out with hands.
Cut as for biscuits.
Fold in half with a pat of butter between fold.
Fold in half and pinch sides together.
Let rise until double and bake at 400\u00b0
for 20 minutes.
