Ingredients

2 1/2 to 3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. yeast
1 c. very hot tap water
2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation

In a large bowl, mix 1 cup flour, sugar, salt and dry yeast. Gradually add hot water and oil.
Beat until well combined. Stir in enough additional flour to make soft dough. Knead until smooth and elastic.
