Far East Potato Taffel - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (24 oz.) pkg. frozen Idaho Southern-style hash brown potatoes with butter sauce and onions
    1 1/2 c. diced, cooked lamb
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. curry powder
    1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
    3/4 tsp. Tabasco sauce
    2 Tbsp. diced pimento (optional)
Preparation
    Brown potatoes in a large skillet.
    Stir in lamb.
    Blend next 6 ingredients with 1 cup of water in small bowl.
    Add to potato mixture.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and thickens.
    Spoon into serving dish.
    Sprinkle with pimento.
    Serve with peanuts, coconut, raisins and chutney. Yields 4 servings, about 455 calories each.
