Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon, sliced in bite size pieces
    3 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    1 c. rice
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 lb. can tomatoes
    2 c. water
    1/4 c. catsup
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp; drain and reserve 3 tablespoons drippings.
    Saute rice, onion and green pepper in drippings.
    Add bacon and remaining ingredients.
    Cover and simmer 45 minutes.
