Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    6 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Beat egg whites with vanilla and cream of tartar until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form and all sugar is dissolved. Spread atop pie, sealing to edge of pastry. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes or until meringue is golden.
    Cool. To prevent shrinking, carefully seal meringue to edge of pastry all the way around.
