Italian Bean Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 onion
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 can kidney beans
    3 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. tomato paste
    1 c. cut up spaghetti (dry)
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Fry onion in oil until brown.
    Add kidney beans and water. Add salt and pepper and tomato paste.
    Simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Add cut up spaghetti and simmer 20 minutes.
    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
