Ingredients

1 lb. real butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
3 c. flour
Preparation

Cream well butter; add sugar and egg; cream well.
Gradually add flour; mix well.
Using a teaspoon, scoop out a spoonful, roll it then flatten.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Repeat process until cookie sheet is full.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes, until edges are golden brown.
