Frog'S Eye Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. acini de pepe macaroni
    3/4 c. white sugar
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 small can mandarin oranges
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (8 or 9 oz.) carton Cool Whip
Preparation
    Cook macaroni 7 to 9 minutes.
    Strain fruit from juices and refrigerate fruit; retain juices.
    In saucepan, cook retained juices with sugar, eggs, flour and salt.
    Bring to a boil and continue cooking about 7 minutes until thickened, stirring often with a wire whisk.
    Pour this sauce over macaroni.
    Mix and let set on counter for 1 1/2 hours.
    Then refrigerate until cold.
    Mix in fruit and Cool Whip.
    Refrigerate for 5 hours.
    Serve and enjoy!
