Rice And Link Sausages - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 oz. chopped smoked ham
    1 onion, chopped
    1 tomato, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    6 sausages (hot Italian, Spanish Longaniza or any sausage)
    1 lb. rice (2 c.)
    1 Tbsp. achote coloring or sazon goya
    2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Saute ham; add tomato, onion, pepper and sausages.
    Mix well; add rice and cook for 2 minutes.
    Add achote coloring, salt and water; mix thoroughly.
    Cover and cook over medium heat until rice is tender.
    Cooking time approximately 25 minutes.
