Ingredients

1 c. dates, chopped
1/2 c. prunes, chopped
1/2 c. margarine
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. nuts
1/2 c. raisins
1 c. water
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
Preparation
-
Cook fruits in water for 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients.
Beat well.
Pour into loaf cake pan.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Excellent for diabetics.
