Chicken Pilau - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cubed cooked chicken
1 1/2 c. rice (not instant)
1 large onion, sliced thin
1 clove garlic
1 to 3 hot chili peppers, chopped fine
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp. turmeric
1/4 tsp. ground coriander
1/4 tsp. ground cardamon
4 to 6 whole cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
3 1/2 c. chicken broth
1 1/2 c. frozen peas
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cook onions in 3 tablespoons butter until golden.
Add garlic, hot peppers, bay leaf, turmeric, coriander, cardamon, cloves and cinnamon sticks; cook briefly.
Add chicken and rice; cook and stir about 5 minutes.
Add the chicken broth, peas, lemon juice and salt.
Bring to boil; cover and simmer 12 to 15 minutes.
Do not overcook.
Remove from heat; let stand 10 minutes.
Place on large platter.
Garnish with slices of hard-cooked eggs.
