Orange Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour, sifted
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
3/4 c. orange juice
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. orange rind, grated
3/4 c. nuts, chopped
2 Tbsp. margarine

Preparation

Sift together first 4 ingredients.
Cut in shortening.
Add eggs and orange juice.
Spoon into greased and floured 8-inch pan. Top with brown sugar, cinnamon, grated orange rind, nuts and margarine.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
