Pineapple Corn Bread - cooking recipe

2 c. flour
5 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. yellow cornmeal
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. milk
3/4 c. crushed pineapple, well drained
1/4 c. butter, melted
Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder, soda, salt and sugar. Sift again. Add cornmeal.
Mix thoroughly.
Combine egg, milk, crushed pineapple and melted butter (slightly cooled).
Pour into flour mixture and stir just enough to moisten the dry ingredients.
Do not beat.
Turn into a greased pan.
Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven about 50 minutes.
