Cooked Chocolate Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    1 large can Carnation milk
    2 sticks butter
    1/4 c. sweet milk
    1/2 to 3/4 c. cocoa
    2 Tbsp. or more Karo syrup
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar and cocoa, then add milk to mix.
    Add other ingredients except vanilla.
    Boil 2 to 3 minutes.
    Beat with electric mixer until thick.
    Add vanilla.
