Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9-inch deep dish, unbaked pie shell
    6 slices bacon, crumbled
    2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 1/2 c. half and half
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Place
    bacon
    in pie shell, then cheese.
    Combine eggs, cream, salt
    and
    pepper.
    Pour into shell.
    Break butter into small pieces over top.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until a knife inserted near center comes out clean, at 375\u00b0.
    Allow to stand 10 minutes before serving.
    Serves 6.
