Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 cups milk (seperated)
    1 cup sugar
    2 Tlb. cornstarch or 4 Tlb. flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 egg yolks (beaten)
    2 Tlb. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla favoring
    9 in. pie sheel
    Meringue
Preparation
    Scald 2 cups of milk.
    Mix sugar, cornstarch/flour, salt, cocoa and 1/4 cup milk.
    Add mixture to scalded milk.
    Cook and stir constantly over low heat about 15 min.
    Add egg yolks adn cook for 3 min.
    Remove from heat and beat in butter and vanilla flavoring.
    Pour into pie shell and top with meringue.
    Brown in oven for 15 min. at 300 degrees.
