Rice Griddle Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. boiled rice
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Mix rice, milk, melted shortening, salt and well beaten egg; stir in flour and baking powder which have been sifted together. Mix well.
    Bake on hot, slightly greased griddle, turning only once.
