Aunt Martha'S Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. hot water
    4 Tbsp. white sugar
    1 c. hot milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 level Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Mix all together.
    Put 1 cake of yeast in 1/2 cup lukewarm water.
    Let all ingredients cool.
    Add to the mixture as much flour as it takes to make dough workable.
    Let stand for 2 hours or until it rises.
    Shape into rolls after punching down and let rise until doubled in size (approximately 2 hours).
    Bake in 400\u00b0 oven until done.
