Stew With Ginger Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (40 oz.) can beef stew
    1 (16 oz.) can chow mein vegetables
    1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced
    1 1/2 tsp. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1 c. biscuit mix
    1/3 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
Preparation
    Mix stew, chow mein vegetables, chestnuts, soy sauce and 1/2 teaspoon ginger in 10-inch skillet.
    Heat to boiling over medium heat.
    Stir baking mix, milk and 1/4 teaspoon ginger until soft dough forms.
    Drop dough by small spoonfuls into boiling stew. Cook, uncovered, 10 minutes.
    Cook 10 more minutes, covered. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
