Mushroom Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1 can onion soup
    1 can beef consomme
    2 small cans mushrooms
    1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Melt margarine in 2-quart casserole.
    Stir in rice to coat grains.
    Add soups and mushrooms; mix.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour, or until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
    Stir occasionally during baking.
    Remove cover; sprinkle with cheese. Return to oven for 5 minutes.
