Toffee Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 lb. butter or oleo
    3 tsp. water
    6 oz. chocolate chips
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cook first 3 ingredients 10 minutes or until brown, stirring constantly.
    Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and pour into buttered pan. Cover with 6 ounce package chocolate chips.
    Spread when softened and sprinkle 3/4 cup chopped nuts over the melted chocolate chips. Cook and break into pieces.
    Store in airtight container.
