Fresh Vegetable Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. butter, softened
1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1 c. diced potatoes, cooked
1 1/2 c. sliced cooked carrots
1 1/2 c. cooked green beans
3/4 c. chopped onion
2 c. chopped cooked ham
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 medium tomatoes, sliced
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
Preparation

Combine butter and flour in small bowl to make smooth paste. Add to hot milk in saucepan, gradually stirring constantly.
Add the next 7 ingredients; mix well.
Pour into buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Arrange tomato slices over top.
Brown bread crumbs in bacon drippings in a skillet.
Sprinkle over tomatoes.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
