Vegetable Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. oil
1 clove crushed garlic
1 c. mushrooms
1 small onion
1/2 c. sliced carrots
1/2 c. celery
1/2 c. water
2 medium potatoes
1 (14 oz.) can butter beans
1/3 c. beef broth
6 oz. can tomato paste
1 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 bay leaf
salt to taste
pepper to taste
Preparation

In hot pan, add oil, garlic, mushrooms and onion; saute.
Add carrots and celery and saute lightly.
Add water, potatoes, butter beans, beef broth and tomato paste.
Bring to a boil.
Add thyme, allspice, bay leaf, salt and pepper.
Simmer until done.
