Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, diced
1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
dash of pepper, salt, paprika and cayenne pepper
3 whole cloves
1 large bay leaf
1 to 2 tsp. chili powder
1 large can tomatoes
1 c. tomato juice
1/4 to 1/2 c. cooked elbow macaroni
1 can kidney beans
Preparation

Brown beef and onions in 3 tablespoons of shortening; add green pepper, salt, pepper, paprika, cayenne, whole cloves, bay leaf and chili powder.
Simmer until oil rises.
Add cans of tomatoes and tomato juice and macaroni.
Let simmer until oil rises.
Add kidney beans.
Let simmer for 1 hour and serve.
