Banana Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. water
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 egg yolks
    pinch of salt
    juice of 1/2 a lemon
    1 Tbsp. butter
    bananas
    ground peanuts
Preparation
    Boil sugar and water together; thicken with cornstarch (you'll want to add a little water before adding to first mixture). Combine juice of 1/2 lemon, a pinch of salt and egg yolks; add to first mixture.
    Cook until thickened.
    Remove from stove and cool. Add butter.
    Combine in layers sauce, bananas, peanuts, etc., until serving dish of your choice is full.
