Spicy Pears - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 ripe pears, peeled, halved and cored
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. cranberry juice
    1/4 tsp. ground cloves
    1/2 tsp. orange and lemon rind (optional)
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
    Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover pan and simmer pears about 20 minutes or until they are tender.
    Serve pears warm or chilled.
    Serves 4.
